About Dan

Before Brigaid, Dan served as Executive Chef of 1789 in Washington, D.C. and Head Chef of Noma in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2016, he founded Brigaid with a dream of helping institutions make demonstrable changes to their food service programs and achieve their unique goals. Since then, the Brigaid team has grown to include over 30 passionate people, most of whom are Chefs. They seamlessly integrate into existing school food service teams, providing tailored solutions and expert guidance to help programs get where they’re trying to go. Brigaid chefs are patient teachers who break down complex processes & set everyone up for success. In 2022, Brigaid and LunchAssist connected over these shared values and formed a collaborative partnership. Brigaid now contributes exclusive culinary training videos and resources to the LunchAssist PRO. Together they are setting programs up to succeed by training food service staff, which has transformational impacts. You can learn more about Brigaid by visiting www.chefsbrigaid.com.
