Before working at the State Agency, Amanda also spent one year at the Charter School Institue as a Nutrition Coordinator, overseeing operations at the local level, including food purchasing, meal application processing, verification, training, and more. She loves supporting school nutrition professionals in meeting their goals. Amanda is currently a part-time contractor with LunchAssist, which allows her to explore the world with her family. Over the past two years, they have lived in Portugal, Spain, and Mexico. As a contractor, she focuses on improving school nutrition programs through innovation, strong relationships, and humor!
